Snapchat has seen a tremendous growth in the past few years and to spark some more growth on the social media, Snapchat will allow its users to share their stories to Facebook and Twitter too. For this, the users only need to link their Snapchat account to their other social media handles and they will easily be able to share their stories to other social media platform.
Snapchat launched the concept of stories back in 2014 with a view to share your photos and videos with all your followers at once. Now the company is launching the ability to share a person’s stories to his other social media account.
For now, the old stories and the stories found in the discover tab can be shared. However, this is just for the launch and the type of stories one can share will increase as time passes. The feature is live from today for the users already running the re-designed snap app like the testing countries Australia and Canada. The app will soon be available for iOS and Android over the next few weeks when the feature will be expanded globally.
The regimen has been marked as a motivation to people who are not on the platform. When they see stories from Snap chat, they will be able to understand the power of the app. In addition, the move will also encourage media outlets and other outside parties to link the snap-based content in their reporting. Gradually the company is planning to launch more embed friendly formats like that on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
