Jeep compass is priced between 14.95 lakhs to 20 lakhs.
Engine:
Pitched with 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine and 1.4-litre multiair unit petrol engine. Fuel tank capacity is 60 liters. Only compass longitude variant is presented with diesel engine while the other two variants are supported with the petrol engine. The petrol engine motor will produce 161 hp of power and 250NM of torque. The diesel engine will generate 172 hp of power and 350NM of torque.The petrol engine will have an automatic transmission whereas diesel engine is provided with a 6-speed manual transmission. Engines are scalable to BS-VI norms which will be implemented by 2020.

Compass is offered In five colors namely Vocal white, Brilliant Black, Hydro Blue, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red.

1. Uconnect Infotainment system:
This offers Signature Uconnect system on a 7-inch screen for longitude, limited variants and 5-inch screen for sport variants. Using 7-inch screen system, we can connect our phone to the system using the charging cable through Android auto and Apple car play apps. Connecting to the system accomplishes calls, playing songs and navigation using steering mounted audio and screen control. While the 5-inch screen allows connecting the user through Bluetooth only.

1.Wheels:
The wheels are designed well in both look and functions to drive in the city or other outdoors. Sport variant is offered with 16 inches, five spoke steel wheels while the longitude and limited variants are presented with 17 inches,10 spoke alloy wheels.

Fitted with Bi-xenon high-intensity discharge lights and daytime running lights which would drill through the darkness .
Safety features:
Jeep compass is provided with six air bags, cornering fog lamps, electronic stability control, reverse parking camera, passive entry and electronic parking brake.
1.Electronic parking brake (EPB):
The EPB revises itself according to the driver’s action. If the driver gets down without putting parking brake, EPB engages itself when it reads open doors, unlocked seat belts else it disengages.
2.Hill Start Assist(HSA):
The HSA ensures safety to the passengers by automatically stopping the vehicle from rolling back on an incline.
