Hair fall can be stopped using natural remedies and thus promote your hair growth:

Coconut Milk:

Required: Coconut milk1 cup

Method: Apply coconut milk with a hair dye brush to your scalp. Cover with a towel your head and leave for 20 minutes. Later remove and rinse with cold water your hair, use a shampoo, if needed.

How many times: Follow this once a week.

Why: Coconut milk has vitamin E and fats moisturizing your hair. The milk has potassium and this helps in reducing hair breakage. The nutrients strengthen the hair roots.

Note: The coconut milk can be extracted by the grating and grinding the coconut to squeeze the milk.

Aloe Vera:

Required:  A stalk or a leaf of the Aloe Vera plant

Method:  Extract pulp from the stalk or leaf and rub to your hair, but wash your hair before applying this pulp. In circular motions, massage into your scalp the pulp, leave it for 15 minutes and rinse using cold water.

How many times: Repeat thrice a week, in the morning after a head bath.

Why: It works as Aloe Vera balances pH levels of the hair and scalp. It goes deep into the hair and scalp, thus promotes hair growth.

Note:  Aloe Vera plant yellow colour sap has toxins and in case you are latex-intolerant it may cause skin irritation. If so, boil the plant prior to extraction pulp.

Neem (Indian Lilac)

Required: Neem dry leaves 10-12 and water in a vessel

Method: Boil neem leaves with water and allow the quantity to become half, let it cool and wash your hair using this mixture.

How many times: Use this remedy after shampooing your hair. It is best done once every week.

Why: Neem has antibacterial properties to eliminate dandruff. This ensures healthy y and promotes the growth of hair. It promotes blood flow and nourishes the hair roots. Neem eliminates head lice.

Note:  Neem can make your eyes burn, so use neem water and wash your hair, but make sure this water does not enter your eyes.

Amla (Indian Gooseberry)

Required: Indian gooseberries 4-5 and virgin coconut oil 1 cup/ 1 cup lime juice/coconut oil

Method1: Boil Indian gooseberries (dried) in coconut oil to turn black, cool it and massage this oil to your scalp, leave for 20 minutes and as usual shampoo.

Method 2: Extract amla juice. Mix 2 teaspoons of amla juice with fresh lime juice equally (2 teaspoons). Apply it to your scalp and let it dry. Rinse using warm water.

Method 3: Mix Indian gooseberry oil and coconut oil in equal parts. Mix lemon juice few drops. Apply this mixture on your scalp. Rinse using water to combat hair loss.

How many times:  Twice a week.

Why: Amla has vitamin C, good for hair strengthening and growth. Vitamin C helps to build collagen required for growth of hair. Vitamin C also absorbs iron and it keeps your hair healthy and strong, averts greying prematurely.
